Since its formation in 2000, in situ: has given some 150 performances in locations as varied as a suburban Cambridge house, churches of East Anglia, Wandlebury Country park and Cambridge’s Leper Chapel.

   

The works performed range from Shakespeare – a notorious psycho-sexual interpretation of Macbeth and an extremely tragicomic The Winter’s Tale – to classical texts such as The Decameron, The Bacchae and Oedipus Rex and modern stories such as War Of The Worlds and Psycho. Original works included Father, Can’t You See I’m Burning and Mirabilis.

   

The company celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2010.
